Snow Em Gee!
Post

Looked out the window this morning to find this:

Woohoo! Five inches of snow. I think that's more than the past ten years of snow combined.
EDIT: It was too dark for a good picture by the time I got home form work, but we got almost ten inches today. So... double the amount in the picture above. In Texas. I'm sure that's nothing for you European folks, but it's downright apocalyptic here. Squatting Monk

My mental picture of Texas has always been of a sort of dry desert-y place...
Looks nice. Our snow's all turned to rain.

The western parts of Texas are like that, but my area is a mixture of scrubland, rolling plains, wetlands, and cedar forests. Lot of good biodiversity here, in spite of the heat and droughts.

My inlaws in Pennsylvania got 22 inches of snow today and are expecting to get another 20 tomorrow.
